The Cent Account. Real Trades, Minimal Risk.

Same MT5 platform, same live market pricing, same order execution — but positions are denominated in USC (US cents), so a 1-lot trade equals just 100 USD of notional. The Cent account lets you practice real trading at 1/100th the risk.

Why the CENT account exists.

The Cent account solves a specific problem: demo accounts don't simulate the emotional reality of trading, but live accounts at real size are too painful for learning. The Cent account splits the difference — your balance is denominated in cents rather than dollars (a $10 deposit shows as 1000¢), lot sizes are 100× smaller than Standard, and every trade executes on the same live market with real slippage, real spreads, and real swap.

This makes Cent ideal for two specific use-cases. First, beginners building live-trading discipline without betting serious capital. You can trade a full EUR/USD micro lot with under a dollar of risk. Second, experienced traders testing new strategies — system validation on a Cent account gives you real execution data without exposing your main capital until the strategy proves out.

Cent accounts have a unique 1:1000 leverage ceiling (versus 1:500 on other NAMH accounts). This higher leverage reflects the smaller notional size of cent-lot positions and gives strategy testers the capital efficiency to simulate realistic position sizes. The minimum deposit is $100 (which displays as 10,000¢ in the platform).

Built For

The CENT account is built for you if...

01You've completed demo trading and want to transition to live execution at minimal risk.
02You're testing a new strategy or EA and need real market data before committing main-account capital.
03You want to feel the psychology of live trading — the emotional difference between paper gains and real ones — without betting a mortgage payment.
04You're teaching forex to someone else and need an account where mistakes cost $1 instead of $100.

How the CENT compares to our other accounts.

Cent uses the same infrastructure as Standard but denominated in cents — so a 'lot' is 1/100th the notional. Most traders outgrow Cent within 3–6 months and move to Standard or Pro.

CENT account questions.

What is a Cent account?+

A Cent account is a live trading account where balance and trade sizes are denominated in cents rather than dollars. A $100 deposit displays as 10,000¢ (cents) in MT5. A 1-lot trade is 100 units of notional instead of 100,000 — exactly 100× smaller than a Standard lot. This lets you practice real trading with real execution at minimal financial risk.

How is a Cent account different from a demo account?+

A demo account simulates pricing and fills; a Cent account IS live. You execute against the real market with real spreads, real slippage, real swap, and real news volatility. The difference is only that notional size is 100× smaller. This makes Cent the best bridge between demo-stage and serious live trading — you feel real P&L without real capital risk.

What is the minimum deposit for the Cent account?+

$100, which displays as 10,000¢ inside MT5. This is enough capital to practice real position sizing on forex majors for weeks before needing a top-up.

Why is leverage 1:1000 on Cent?+

Because notional position sizes are 100× smaller, the 1:1000 leverage headline translates to realistic effective leverage. A $100 Cent account with 1:1000 leverage can simulate positions comparable to what a $1,000 Standard account would carry at 1:500 — giving strategy testers a representative margin environment.

Can I move from Cent to Standard/Pro later?+

Yes — easily. You can open additional accounts under your profile at any time. Most traders use Cent for 3–6 months while learning or strategy-testing, then graduate to Standard or Pro for scaling. Your Cent account remains open for ongoing strategy-testing even after you fund a larger account.

Are all instruments available on the Cent account?+

Most of them. Forex, commodities, indices, crypto, and equities are accessible. A small number of highly-specialised instruments may be unavailable due to contract-size mechanics that don't translate well to cent denomination — the MT5 Market Watch will show exactly which instruments you can trade.
